Its nearing the end of 2020 and it feels like healing should be at the top of the list for 2021! Let's start from there.
I feel like for most of 2020 I have just been meandering along and really just winging it. Nothing has seemed like the daily norms or routines that we had before the pandemic. This year has been quite crappy to say the least. Yet it has also given us a lot of time to revaluate some stuff. So I decided next year I am focused on starting it off right! Why not....I can't say I have a whole lot of other things to do. So I figure setting myself up for success next year is good. Right.
So when I think about it, most years prior to 2020 the novel resolution for many of us, involved health or wellness. Which I must say was also including myself. So here I am again contemplating health and wellness, yet it to me it would just seem crazy not to entertain that for the commencement of 2021. Of course after all, this entire last year we lived was all about OUR health...and staying alive amidst this crazy pandemic.
For 2021 I decided I am CBDing it! Yup that's it.
Randomly during all this, I came to a pivotal point where I felt like the achys were a little achier, and the anxiety was a little more nerve racking (probably covid related) and my overall health could just use a re-boot(also probably covid related). There I was with all the time in the world to read and educate myself. I read up on all the newest health trends, what works against covid, how to be in better overall health, how to keep your family healthy....yadda yadda yadda. The list is absolutely endless and luckily the reading time covid provided us seemed endless as well.
I noticed a lot of information out there about different essential oils and supplements. I was starting to notice different trends, terms and types out there. CBD was one that I took notice of real quick. And as I read more I noticed a lot of buzz about it. I mean technically I have heard about it before and had a fair idea of what it was and did. But I was allotted much more time to brush up on it, hence the current excess in reading time.
Well needless to say I became very interested, I mean really I became sold. CBD has actually been around for a really long time. I mean let me clarify not prehistoric era but for the better part of a decade. Needless to say much longer than I had realized. Its been around since the 1940's, pretty impressive. And actually to think about it, it was probably just named or discovered in the 40's. But since it is naturally occurring its been chilling for a minute. All of it is pretty cool.
So not long after CBD was "discovered" it was realized that it had some notable benefits in people that used it. I mean consumed it in someway, rather it be smoking or ingesting. Yet people even noticed a benefit when it was used as a topical on irritations and rashes on the skin and for swollen joints. So it was clear really fast that the benefits of CBD existed.
For me this is really great stuff. I am not one to jump on current fads or gimmicky type of therapies. So CBD is really perfect. Also it is a way of having therapeutic support option without having to jump straight to conventional over the counter or prescription medications. Which I am not knocking, I just don't want to always go that way or have that be my only option.
SO we fast forward to now CBD has come along way. Legalizations and the production of CBD and CBD based products has taken off. The benefits seen so many years ago are at our fingertips. I am sold! Here is something that is natural and been around for so long and helps me exactly where I need it. I have Lupus and CBD has changed the game for me. This is why after spending so much time reading about this good stuff I am deciding that for 2021 I am CBDing it. ALL THE WAY!
